From start to finish, working with Elora and her team was an absolute dream and it honestly felt like another pair of our friends were witnessing one of the biggest moments of our lives. They captured every precious moment of our special day with such grace and creativity, far beyond our expectations. From the intimate ceremony at the historic Rockland Church to our photos on Lookout Mountain and following us to our reception in Morrison, they didn’t just take pictures and video – they told the story of our big day in the most special way. Their attention to detail was impeccable. Every photo felt so personal and true to the emotions of the moment. They were patient, kind, and professional throughout the entire process, making us feel at ease and comfortable in front of the camera.  We’re beyond grateful for the memories they've captured for us, and we’ll treasure these photos and the video for decades to come. If you're looking for a photographer and videographer who will not only provide stunning memories but also make your day feel even more magical, look no further than Elora and her team.

I had such a wonderful experience working with Elora! What I loved most about the shoot was how natural and comfortable everything felt. During the session, I was honestly surprised at how relaxed I was - I’m not typically someone who likes taking pictures - but Elora made the whole process feel so effortless. We focused on capturing genuine moments, not stiff poses, and it truly felt like I was just enjoying the day.
We had our engagement shoot at the Highlands Ranch Mansion, and it was absolutely amazing! The location was stunning and added a very romantic feel to the shoot!
If you're looking for a photographer, my advice is to choose someone who is friendly and makes you feel at ease—Elora does exactly that! It’s such a huge difference when you’re able to relax and just enjoy the moment. Highly recommend!

Elora was absolutely AMAZING. We had an impromtu trip to Colorado, which I wanted to take advantage of the beautiful scenery and Elora was willing to work with us on such short notice. She was very communicative, fun, sweet and just all around professional. She gave us prompts to do, instead of just "here pose like this". It made the session so much fun and the pictures, OH MY GOSH Yall... they came out incredible. I trusted her process/vision fully and I am so glad I did. She went above and beyond to capture the love my fiancé and I share. The one thing that pleasantly surprised me was she noticed if i needed to stand taller, pull my stomach back so i didnt look weird, it didnt make me feel self conscious, it made me feel like "yes, this girl has the eye". 10000/10 would recommend again and again.

01. your second frequently asked question will go here on these different lines.

01. What’s the difference between a wedding, a micro wedding, and an elopement?

Great question! Here’s a quick breakdown:

  • Weddings → The full celebration, with 50+ guests, a venue, reception, and all the details. Whether it’s a ballroom, a mountain lodge, or a backyard soirée, this is your classic “big day” experience.

  • Micro Weddings → A scaled-down version of a traditional wedding, 10-50 guests, keeping the intimate feel while still having the structure of a wedding day.

  • Elopements → Typically just the couple (or a handful of guests), focusing on an intimate, personalized experience, often in a stunning outdoor location.

No matter the size, your day should feel feel true to YOU!This is why i even help with all the planning details!

02. do we still need a wedding planner for a micro elopement?

It depends on how much support you want! I’ve seen both the good and the bad of having (and not having) wedding planners at weddings and elopements.

For full weddings, a planner can be a lifesaver—handling logistics and vendor coordination to keeping everything on track the day of.

For micro elopements (25 guests or fewer), you might not need a full planner—and that’s where I come in!

I provide planning support for elopements, including location scouting, vendor recommendations, custom timelines, and permit guidance. Whether or not you hire a planner, I make sure your day is seamless, stress-free, and truly yours.

03. How do you make a small wedding or elopement feel just as special as a big one?

It’s all about intention. It’s all about creating an experience that feels true to you. Whether you’re surrounded by 200 guests or just a handful of loved ones, the magic lies in the little moments.

One of my favorite experiences was photographing a couple who eloped at Sapphire Point in Colorado. They brought along their parents, shared handwritten vows, and celebrated with frisbee games, lightsaber spouse portraits and a private chef dinner all in one day! The day felt incredibly personal, and every detail reflected their story.

I help couples design days that aren’t just about photos—they’re about crafting memories, from the first look to the final dance.

04. What’s the best time of day for a wedding or elopement?

The light can (literally) make or break your photos, and that’s why I always recommend golden hour—either sunrise or sunset.

For elopements in popular spots like Garden of the Gods or Rocky Mountain National Park, sunrise is often best to avoid crowds and capture that soft, dreamy light. For weddings, I help plan timelines that make the most of natural light while ensuring your day flows beautifully.

One of my favorite moments was a sunset elopement where the couple said their vows as the sun dipped behind the mountains, casting a golden glow over everything—it was pure magic!

05. Can we legally elope in Colorado without an officiant?

Yes! Colorado is one of the few states where you can self-solemnize, meaning you don’t need an officiant or witnesses. You can literally marry yourselves—how amazing is that?

I’ve had couples sign their marriage license on a hiking trail, with their dog as the only “witness”. Bonus? Your dog can even "sign" as a witness with a paw print. 🐾

I can help guide you through the marriage license process, from picking up your license to making sure all the paperwork is in order.

Plus, if you want an officiant or a more traditional ceremony, I’ve got plenty of recommendations to find someone that connects with you.

06. what's the best season to elope in colorado?

Honestly, Colorado is a stunner year-round (but I may be slightly biased since I was born and raised here)! Each season offers a unique vibe:

  • Spring (March-May): Wildflowers start blooming, but higher elevations may still have snow.
  • Summer (June-August): Alpine lakes thaw, mountain trails are open, and weather is warm (but expect some afternoon storms!).
  • Fall (September-October): GOLDEN ASPEN SEASON! Crisp air, less crowds, and unreal colors. My personal favorite! 🍂
  • Winter (November-February): Snowy wonderland vibes, cozy cabins, and epic ski/snowshoe elopements.

I help all my couples choose the best location and timing for their vision. sunrise ceremony at Sapphire Point or a snowy adventure in Estes Park.I've got you!
